Affiliate program

The affiliate program isn't open yet. This page describes how it will work when it opens.

#Join

1. Open Settings → Affiliate.
2. Enter the email you want to be paid at and choose Join the program.
3. Copy your referral link and share it.

The share you earn and how long you earn it are shown at the top of the page. Anyone with an account can join; you don't need a paid plan.

#How referrals are counted

Your link stores a referral code on the visitor's device for 60 days. When that person creates a workspace and opens it as its owner, the workspace is credited to you, once. Workspaces you create yourself are never credited to you.

#Earnings and payouts

• Each payment from a referred workspace earns you a commission, shown in Settings → Affiliate.
• A commission is Waiting during the refund window, then Ready to pay.
• If a payment is refunded, its commission is cancelled. If it was already paid out, it's taken off your next payout.
• Payouts are sent by hand to your payout email, for example through PayPal or Wise, and then marked Paid.

#For server owners

The program is off until you set AFFILIATE_PROGRAM=true, and it needs billing to be set up. Change its terms with AFFILIATE_RATE, AFFILIATE_MONTHS and AFFILIATE_HOLD_DAYS, On the admin page, the Affiliates tab shows what's due to each affiliate; send the money, then choose Mark paid.
