Is there a free plan?

No. Plans are Creator ($19/month), Team ($39/month) and Agency ($99/month). Every plan starts with a free trial, 7 days by default. See Billing and plans.

Why can't I connect a channel?

Your workspace may not have a plan yet. A workspace without a plan can't connect or publish to channels. The owner can start a free trial in Settings → Billing. Also, only owners and admins can add channels, and some servers require you to confirm your email first.

Do I pay if I cancel during the trial?

No. Cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged. Cancel from Manage billing in Settings → Billing.

What happens to my posts if I cancel?

Your posts, drafts, media and team stay in the workspace. Your channels are paused, so nothing publishes. Choose a plan again to resume them.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. The owner can switch plans in Settings → Billing. The prorated difference is charged right away. If the new plan allows fewer channels, the newest channels beyond the limit are paused.

Which networks can Postline post to?

29 networks, including X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest and Reddit. A network marked Setup needed isn't configured on the server you use.

Can I write different text for each network?

Yes. In the composer, open a channel's tab next to All channels and type that channel's text. See Scheduling posts.

What does "Add to queue" do?

It schedules the post at the next free posting time of the channels you picked. Set each channel's times with Posting times in its menu.

Which time zone does Postline use?

Posting times, CSV imports and the assistant use the workspace time zone, set in Settings → Workspace. The composer's date and time field uses your device's local time.

How do I get a client to approve a post?

Open the post, choose Share preview and send the link. Your client can comment and choose Approve post without an account. See Approvals and comments.

How many AI credits do things cost?

Writing help costs 1 credit, an assistant message 5, and an AI image 10. Credits reset on the 1st of each month. See AI writing and the assistant.

What happens if a post fails?

Postline retries temporary errors up to 3 times. If it still fails, you get a notification. Open the post, fix the problem and choose Retry failed.

Can AI agents schedule posts for me?

Yes. Connect ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or another MCP client, or give command-line agents like Codex the Postline skill. Agents save drafts unless you ask them to schedule. See MCP and AI agents.

Is there a Node SDK or CLI?

No. Use the REST API, MCP, or the Postline skill, which calls the REST API with curl.

Can I run Postline on my own server?

Yes. Use Docker Compose, a free server behind a Cloudflare Tunnel, or Cloudflare Containers. Without billing keys, a self-hosted server has no limits. See Self-hosting.

How do I contact support?

In the app, choose Help and support at the bottom of the sidebar and send a message. A person answers there, and you get an email when they do.
