#What you can post

• Text up to 10,000 characters per note. Hashtags are added as tags.
• Up to 4 images or videos. Media is linked from Postline's public URL and added to the end of the note.
• Threads: extra parts are published as replies.

#Connect your account

1. In the sidebar, click + Add next to Channels. Only workspace owners and admins can add channels.
2. Choose Nostr and fill in:
   • Private key (nsec): nsec1… or 64 hex characters.
   • Display name.
   • Relays (optional): wss:// addresses. If empty, Postline uses wss://relay.damus.io, wss://nos.lol and wss://relay.primal.net.
3. Click Add channel.

Your private key is stored encrypted and only used to sign your posts.

#For self-hosters

No server setup is needed.

Media is linked from Postline's public URL, so APP_URL/uploads/... (or your S3 public URL) must be reachable from the internet.

#Analytics and plugs

Postline doesn't collect analytics for Nostr yet. Plugs aren't available.

#Known issues

• At least one relay must accept the note. Otherwise Postline retries: "No Nostr relay accepted the post."
• Relay addresses must start with wss:// (or ws://).
