There is no free plan. Every plan starts with a free trial.

A workspace without a plan can't connect or publish to channels, and can't use AI, RSS feeds or plugs.

Free trial
- Go to Settings → Billing.
- Choose Start free trial on a plan.
- Finish checkout on the payment page.
The trial lasts 7 days by default. Cancel before it ends and you won't be charged. The trial applies to a workspace's first subscription only.
You can enter a discount code at checkout.
After checkout, the page says Your plan updates as soon as the payment is confirmed. It refreshes on its own, usually within seconds.
Only the workspace owner can choose or change the plan.
Switch plans
- Go to Settings → Billing.
- Choose Switch to the plan you want.
- Choose Confirm switch.
The prorated difference is charged right away, and the new limits apply at once.
If you move to a plan with fewer channels, Postline pauses your newest channels beyond the limit. When you upgrade again, those channels resume on their own. You can also remove a channel and resume a paused one yourself.
Manage billing and cancel
Choose Manage billing in Settings → Billing. This opens the billing portal, where you can:
- Change your payment method
- Download invoices
- Cancel your subscription
Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, a merchant of record. Dodo handles sales tax, VAT and invoices.
What happens when you cancel
When your subscription ends, the workspace goes back to having no plan.
- Your posts, drafts, media and team stay in the workspace.
- Your channels are paused, so nothing publishes.
- Choose a plan again to resume your channels.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, the workspace keeps its plan while the payment is retried. Owners get an email and a notice in Settings → Billing asking them to update the payment method. If the subscription goes on hold, the workspace loses its plan until you update the payment method and the payment goes through.
Self-hosted servers
A self-hosted server without Dodo Payments keys has no billing. Every feature is unlocked with no limits, and Settings → Billing says so. See Self-hosting.
