Tumblr

#What you can post

• Text up to 4,096 characters.
• Up to 10 images or videos.
• No threads or comments.
• Per-post setting: Tags, comma separated.

#Connect your account

1. In the sidebar, click + Add next to Channels. Only workspace owners and admins can add channels.
2. Choose Tumblr.
3. Click Continue to Tumblr, sign in and allow access.
4. Postline adds each blog on your Tumblr account as a channel.

#For self-hosters

1. Register an OAuth 2.0 app at tumblr.com/oauth/apps.
2. Register this redirect URL: {APP_URL}/api/channels/oauth/tumblr/callback
3. Set TUMBLR_CLIENT_ID and TUMBLR_CLIENT_SECRET.

#Analytics and plugs

Postline collects each post's note count (shown as likes). It does not track follower counts.

Plugs (auto-repost and follow-up) aren't available for Tumblr.

#Known issues

• Connecting fails with "This Tumblr account has no blogs." if the account has no blogs.
• Postline refreshes the access token automatically. If the refresh fails, reconnect the channel.
