Twitch

#What you can post

• Text up to 500 characters per message.
• No images or video.
• Extra parts of a post are sent as more chat messages.

#Connect your account

1. In the sidebar, click + Add next to Channels. Only workspace owners and admins can add channels.
2. Choose Twitch.
3. Click Continue to Twitch, sign in and allow access.

#For self-hosters

1. Create an application at dev.twitch.tv/console.
2. Register this redirect URL: {APP_URL}/api/channels/oauth/twitch/callback
3. Set TWITCH_CLIENT_ID and TWITCH_CLIENT_SECRET.

#Analytics and plugs

Postline doesn't collect analytics for Twitch yet. Plugs aren't available.

#Known issues

• Twitch doesn't take images or video.
• If Twitch drops the message, the post fails with "Twitch dropped the message" and Twitch's reason.
• Postline refreshes the access token automatically. If the refresh fails, reconnect the channel.
