#What you can post

• Text up to 1,024 characters per cast.
• Up to 2 images or videos, embedded by their Postline URL.
• Threads: extra parts are published as replies, each one replying to the part before it.
• Per-post setting: Channel (optional), for example dev. It applies to the first cast.

#Connect your account

1. In the Neynar developer portal, create an API key and an approved signer for your account.
2. In Postline, click + Add next to Channels in the sidebar. Only workspace owners and admins can add channels.
3. Choose Farcaster and fill in:
   • Neynar API key.
   • Signer UUID.
4. Click Add channel.

#For self-hosters

No server keys are needed. Each person uses their own Neynar API key and signer.

Media is linked from Postline's public URL, so APP_URL/uploads/... (or your S3 public URL) must be reachable from the internet.

#Analytics and plugs

Postline collects likes, recasts (shown as shares) and replies (shown as comments) per cast. It does not track follower counts.

Plugs:

• Auto-repost: not supported.
• Follow-up: supported. Postline replies with a follow-up once the cast reaches the number of likes you set.

#Known issues

• The signer must be approved. Otherwise you see "That signer is not approved yet. Approve it in Warpcast first."
