Listmonk

#What you can post

• Newsletters up to 100,000 characters, in Markdown.
• Up to 10 images, added below the text. Video isn't supported.
• No threads or comments.
• Per-post settings:
  • Email subject: required.
  • List: required. The choices come from your Listmonk server.
  • Send immediately (otherwise saved as draft campaign): on by default.

#Connect your account

1. In Listmonk, create an API user under Admin → Users.
2. In Postline, click + Add next to Channels in the sidebar. Only workspace owners and admins can add channels.
3. Choose Listmonk and fill in:
   • Listmonk address: for example https://lists.yourdomain.com.
   • API username.
   • API token.
4. Click Add channel.

#For self-hosters

No server setup is needed. People connect with their own Listmonk server and API user.

Images are linked from their Postline URL, so APP_URL/uploads/... (or your S3 public URL) must be reachable from the internet.

#Analytics and plugs

Postline collects each campaign's views, clicks and number of emails sent (shown as impressions). It does not track subscriber counts.

Plugs (auto-repost and follow-up) aren't available for Listmonk.

#Known issues

• Every campaign needs a subject and a list.
• With Send immediately turned off, the campaign is saved as a draft in Listmonk and you send it from there.
